What a fun story. In my neck of the woods those bamboo poles are $36 each when you can find them. Did you get yours for less? Wendy |

Most impressive project. Particularly found the bamboo work informative and appreciate the photos and product info too. That amber mica in the lanterns really makes your nightime lighting pop. Great idea to use it. We've been in the process of planning and landscaping our backyard for sometime now and joined TC years ago when first looking for ideas of ways to incorporate a tiki feel. Recently been considering some type of bamboo panel at the bar area. This thread was very helpful. How has the bamboo fence aged after all this time? Any pest issues since (other than the occasional critter…hilarious and great photos) in doing the bamboo fence? We have black widows here and wondering if that could be a problem area for us if we go that route especially since it's next to the bar at night when people would be in pretty close proximity to the fence. Thanks. |
