Aloha, as I have a few birthdays coming up, I would appreciate recommendations, either on the web or in greater LA, in this theme. Ideally something a little more exotic then Tommy Bahama's. Mahalo |

Can't vouch for the quality of their hula gear, but there's this site, which I got here or from Tiki News a while back: For non-hula Hawaiian wear, I do no better than eBay for great luau wear! Happy coming up birthday(s)! |

I've ordered from this company and was very satisfied. They carry professional stuff as well as non-pro. (But the pro stuff looks better and lasts longer.): http://www.hulasource.com/index.html (Note: Not all coconut bras are created equal! If one is going to wear a coconut bra for anything more than a bedroom costume (You know what I mean), then I would recommend the pro ones on Hula Source's site. Yes, they're more expensive, but they come in different sizes (hence, less "falling out" of them) and are finished (hence less irritation). It's what the dancers wear, so they will look better and feel more comfy.) Other sites I found (but have not ordered from): |
