can you say score

Here are the first 5 of the 30 or so logs that I sorted thru today. The rest are piled under a tarp until I can get a truck. The biggest one here is just under 4 feet and 13 inches across the top. There are bigger ones, but my 3year old and 18 month old wouldnt help lift them into the minivan. Looks like I'll be busy for a while.

Hey, Rodeo! What kind of logs you got there? Are they all dried out, or still wet inside?

Nice work on the Moai. Have you been using the die grinder? I'm hoping to have some new air tools soon, & would love to know how they're working for you.

thanks arron , not sure what kind of wood it is. It is from a log home, prety sure it is white pine. The logs are kiln dried but these were left to the elements so there a little damp on the outer sides. I used only a hammer , chisel and then a sanding disk on my 4 inch grinder so far. I too want more tools. my die grinder only has metal working bits so far.
