I ran across this just now while surfing the net: http://www.interpexhibits.com/IE-NAI_thumb.shtml
Its a page from the website of an Oregon company called Interpretive Exhibits which recounts their exhibit in a 2003 Reno trade show at which they "interpreted the 'Polynesian Pop Culture of the Fifties' by setting up a retro 'Tiki Lounge' complete with an 8-foot fiberglass tiki head, a custom fiberglass solar-powered audio post, a bamboo tiki bar and faux shipping crates."

I'm away from my BoT at the moment, But I think I've seen a pic similar to that moai/fireplace. Danny Balsz' The Tikis, maybe?...or was it Tiki Gardens?

You are correct sir! Tiki Gardens, "Kahona", The Water God, BOT pg 190-191.

Funny,...I don't remember doing that trade show. Not sure if I was even in Reno!?!?!?!

I did some checking. That was not me (I was hoping I wasn't that bombed). Turns out it was my cousin 7FT 11IN Tiki. :)

Uh huh...then why did our new wives, Ginger and Amber, just call?
