Computer Wallpaper

Whats yours right now? I'm just curious. I had a Miles Thompson image of a hula gal up
for the longest time but feeling a little spunky and considering the political climate of the planet decided to change to Invader Zim. (I know I used the word political here eeek! I'm not fishing for a political discussion, just wondering why you have the wallpaper you do). The weather being what it has been in California, I'm on the hunt for some nice sunny, warm tropical images.
Come on Summer! Come on Summer!

Right now? The old Liberty Records album cover of Mr. Denny's "Quiet Village" LP.

P

Shag's "Presentation of the Swizzle Stick."

But I really like the booty thing. Don't think I could use it at work, though.

Tartan swatch, tiled.

My puppy, Margarita (not named by us!) on the beach.

The Baby Pineapple sonogram. :)

D

Images of Leonardo DaVinci's inventions-floating around.

At work: a map of NYC, with pictures of my Gran'Daughter over the parts that show Jersey & Long Island.

At home: my logon uses the standard WinXP picture of the moon that fills the screen, & my wife's has an image of Big Thunder Railroad that I found on MiceAge.

This is my wallpaper as of last night, Before that it was a photo of laird hamilton in big surf.

I found this pic called "Cove of Wonders" several weeks ago by artist Tom Thordarson

I wanna order that Tiki drink. I prefer it over a "Jeanie" in a bottle.

T

For those of you who have not seen this pic before, this is Danny (TikiDiablo) Gallardo's "World Largest Tiki Mug" though I've never seen it so nicely garnished.

V

a picture of 2 drunk shriners with Aloha fez watching a hula dancer.

Hi,
I'm new here and I'm very impress of your creations (tiki carving, bar...).
I made some computer wallpaper. I hope you'll like them.

That IS great stuff. Thanks for posting the link. Anybody have links to anything similar that's Windows wallpaper sized? (1024 x 768 or bigger? ) I can't afford $900 for a limited edition and the little prints are too big for my scanner. Mahalo in advance.

I've been using this picture of Castaway Cove from last month's NW Tiki Crawl (pic taken by Dogbytes): http://www.monkeyskull.net/photos/nwtikicrawl2005/01.htm

Here's what I've had on my desktop for more than a year now:

I AM ZIIIIMMMMM!!!!!

It's the logo of the mighty Irkin Invaders.

Can't seem to top it, so it stays.

I must be hungry. "Zim" looks like a poorly made pizza to me right now.

This could spawn a whole new thread. Pepperoni Tikis on pizzas. Now would that fall into Creating Tiki or Tiki Drinks and Food?

This is my current Desktop.

It is a scanned image of a 50 year old photograph that was given to my wife by her mother.

This is a picture of the family business that has been in my wifes family for more than 60 years. My motherinlaw is one of the kids standing in the doorway.

Its still in the same location and much of the exterior is unchanged (just much older).

At one point my wifes great grandfather owned an adjacent bar, restaurant, and small hotel. The neighborhood market is all that remains.

Its cool to have photos of our family history

Mai Kai postcard makes swell wallpaper.

Click HERE for the 1024 x 410 pic.

Now if that doesn't look like paradise I don't know what does!

I can't quite make it out...

Get your prescription checked Pappy!! It was the largest file I could find so I've got it tiled on my desktop... it's a painting from surf artist Charlie Clingman called Tropical... the guy does some awesome stuff, many suitable for desktop wallpapers!

Excuse my ignorance but Buggy Wuggy? I think my daughter has a snuggly bunny but I think you are refering to something else and a search on Tiki neate me only the previous post.

The banner on the top of the blog says "Mr Fluffers and Buggy Wuggy say welcome to Zoomaru" I was under the impression the blog is hers and the characters on the header are hers as well. Buggy Wuggy is cool lookin' I thought he should be wallpapered. Nothing against Mr. Fluffers, I am just not into bunnies so much.

This is free for anyone to download so long as they use it as computer wallpaper.

Well now don't I look foolish. Yes it is her blog and yes she did the characters. Final Score - Unattentive Husbands: 0 Rest of the World: 2,000. I will let her know of your request and keep you posted. She will be happy to get the compliment.

I have James Bond sitting in the bamboo hut in Dr. No. One of my favorite scenes because of the great bamboo walls and other things in the room, including Bond's attitude while he waits to kill an enemy.
