my marquesean tiki tattoo!!!!

Im new here and wanted to show off my new Tiki Tattoo. I wasnt aware of this whole Tiki sub culture, I was just browsing around and I gotta say, I love this site!!! Anyway, check out the ink, I had it done while I was in Maui last week. I plan on adding to this arm in Polynesian style and hopefully getting a similiar mask on my other arm.

I am thinking about getting my first tattoo. I am thinking something black, maybe Polynesian. A circler face on my back shoulder or arm. But when I search the internet, there get isn't very many picture to look at or choose from. I've seen the tattoo page on Konakai.com and tattoo.com and google images. But this is a big decision that needs much thought and ideas.

I'm in the same boat, teaKEY. So far I've found the internet to be a lousy place for tattoo info, except for this . . Here's a link that lists a few good books on the subject. If your lucky (like me) your library will have a couple of these titles.

That's a pretty unique tat, at least as far as I've seen. Did you go in with a sketch, or pick it off a wall? Wear it well.

Well, with me, I did see one in the tattoo shop that I liked and probably will be the best that I find. It will be good seeing how it will be traditional and I probably won't be able to improve on the design but I don't exactly want to be having the same thing the guy down the street has. But when I do get one, my first, I will be sure to post it. Wait, that might cause more people to get it. Damn :)
