Hey tiki lovers. These are some of the photos of my trip to NZ. Unfortuneately I was 14 (now 22) and wasnt into tiki (although it probably helped get me here).

Thought you might enjoy. If you have any questions re. NZ I will try and help out.

Enjoy.

Craters of the moon geothermal park

Huka falls. Thats a lot of water!

My resort in Lake Taupo. Active volcano in far distance.

Near Mt Ruapehu. Real Lord of the Rings scenery (mordor).

Scenic flight over Mt Ruapehu. Note the small plane for scale!

Black water rafting (caving) Waitomo caves. Great fun. Had to jump backwards (sitting in the inner tube) into pitch black from a height of 4 feet. Kinda freaky.

Mineral srpings

Big name!

Maori village attraction in Rotorua. Highly reccomended.

Napier. Place was levelled in 20s/30s by an earthquake. Lots of art deco buildings

Bridge was 2 way and rail was well. Main highway down West Coast South Island. Crazy.

Lake Matheson

Fox Glacier. Got a helicopter in :) Im the young one. My brother is the idiot in shorts.

From the air

View from hotel spa in Queenstown :)

Jetboating - great fun :)

Milford Sound. Rains so much there is 1m (4 feet) of fresh water on the sea water! Doesnt dissolve in. 5 sunny days a year. We got one!

Windy on the west coast!

Pretty. Mt Cook?

Everyone laughs at me because I am different. I laugh at everyone else because they are all the same.

Sorry Aloha, no surf pics. I got one beach pic, but from memory theres no swell anyway. Heaps of driftwood. Will post it later...

... great shots, in any case...

Lake Taupo's a great place to visit, if anybody gets a chance to go there, most of the hotels and motels along the lake have hot tubs in the rooms (on the Balconys) fed with water from the plentifull hot springs in the area.
Just down from Huka falls you can swim in places where the hot springs join the river even in winter when the main river water comes straight from the snow fields. Good place to go snorkelling as well.
Alohabros I got some NZ surf pics if you want to see some?

cheeky, post 'em at your convenience... that'd be great...

These are all a bit ropey unfortunately, they've been laying about a while.
It's also hard to get many photos when you want to surf and the person with the camera does'nt know agood wave from a bad one.
Main Beach Gisbourne, gets crowded after school finishes

Evening session, Dead mans Beach, Coramandel. That evening I slept on the beach whilst the others with me slept in their cars, suddenly I was awoke by everyone shouting like mad. Apparently there had been an earthquake, they had felt it, with their cars shaking, meanwhile me, sleeping on the beach hadn't felt a thing.
Although you have to be careful, because of the frequent earthquakes a lot of beaches have Tsunami warning signs!

Munga-humi, Taranaki,2-3 times overhead

A couple of shots from acouple of other places i visited on the Trip.
Heavy little wave outside Club Raro, Rarotonga, surfed it on my own every day, breks on a very shallow reef with no pass

The Point, Satuitua, Savai'i, Samoa 8-10ft

A cool NZ Tiki on the East Cape depicting Captain Cook just to get back on Topic

... cheeky, rippin' good... thanks...
