Anybody else have this? It's German Import on Impact Records. Side 2 has just 1 track, Call of the Jungle (quote: "AN EXCITING 13 MINUTE CONTINUOUS SESSION). Who knew I bought an Exotica record during my Oldies phase. Ooh, I almost forgot: vinyl is snow white! |

To be honest, I haven't heard enought Chaino OR Candido to make the comparison. Hmm.. maybe I wouldn't even know bad bongo playing but I like Chaino. |

Yeah, record labels were awful in the 50's. If you had a 45 playing the Tuba called they'ed insist it be called "Tuba Time". Then if you got 5 tracks together, they'd release an LP called "Tuba, Tuba, Tuba". If you could only scrape together 4 tracks, you'd be on "meet" album. "Tuba Tony (your name being Al) meets Oboe Joe", Your next albums would be. "Around World in 80 Tubas","It's Tuba Time Again", and finally, "Tuba Tony Plays the Beatles". |

Speaking of Candido....there's a newly released CD of striptease or burlesque music (don't remember the title) that has an AWSOME Candido track called "Blue Prelude"..I'd love to get a hold of the LP (or a cd reissue) it came from, but don't seem to find the track on any of his LPs online. Anyone knoew anything about this song? Maybe it was only a single...? |

For everyone's information, the CD Back of CD: Track listing (also from the back of the CD): The Nervous Beat - The Creed Taylor Orchestra (You KNEW that last one would be there, right?) I guess you had better be a "Sam 'The Man' Taylor" fan, I could try to take pics of the tray cards and CD if |

Awful? That’s absolutely beautiful! In the seventies it might have been Tubular Tubas. Now that’s awful! KK |
