Aloha!

Just wanted to do a rollcall of people in the area who can't make the fab San Diego shindig.

I believe that Smilinky are planning on being there.

I am definitely working that night- beyond that I have few details at this point.

Who's in?

[ Edited by: martiki 2005-12-04 08:33 ]

I'm in!

I will be sure to attend...what's the dress code; top-hat and tails!?!?!

Martin, How's your banana daiquiri?

M

It's so good Russell, you'll love it.

But I'm cutting you off if I see any monkey business.

M

ZAZZ!

We've pretty much written off SD, much as we'd love to go! We've just got too much other stuff to spend on/save up for this holiday season, and we don't really feel like traveling anyways.

So we'll be sure to swing by and sample a few of Martiki's lovely libations! We might bring a small posse, too--we'll see!

MT

Coco Loco and I can't afford to go to San Diego. I'm still waiting to hear back from the owners of the Orbit Inn about a discount for New Year's. But if New Year's in Palm Springs doesn't work out, then it looks like we would be in for ringing in the New Year at Trader Vic's!

My bro' is going to be handling Conga Lounge's New Years Party, so we'll probably head to the Traders as well

M

JUST ANNOUNCED: Spirit of Polynesia will be playing on New Year's Eve at SF Vic's!

For those of you who caught them at our Hawaiian Night recently, you saw how good they were- classic tunes, live hula, and Tahitian Drum dancing. This time they're coming back with more percussion to blow 2005 out of the water.

We are also offering a prix fixe five or six course menu that looks wonderful. I'll get a copy and post it here. Should be a great night!

If you're around, come on down!

M

Yeah Baby! Just keep your paws off my Bananas Flambe!

M

See everyone tonight!

Yes indeedy, now that we're not promised a violent storm and all the accompanying fender-benders and flooding, most likely we WILL see everyone tonight!

We're gonna start at the Conga around eight. Anyone from the East/North/Whatever Bay who wants to make that the first pit stop, feel free to join in. Paul's pouring, so you know it'll be enticing...

Pictures!!! I want to see what I missed!
Aloha and Happy New Year everyone.

What a wonderful way to ring in the new year -- the meal was delicious and a lot of fun, the drinks were delicious and a lot of fun, and the company was delicious and a lot of fun. Pictures -- I got hundreds of 'em...

Critiki - Ooga-Mooga - Humu Kon Tiki

[ Edited by: Humuhumu 2006-04-13 10:21 ]

Looks like one GREAT time was had by all. With the rainfall and road closures, we had to cancel our New Years celebration at TV. I live about 20 minutes from the major flooding area along the Russian River, but wasn't affected except for minor detours around flooded intersections and wineries. After 4 days of downpour and rescuing my carved tikis from a water soaked backyard, we decided we would wait one more year to celebrate New Years at TV with the ohana.

Hope to see you all soon!

-Myke

Those photos just begin to describe all the great fun we had! The food was great, Martiki's drinks were fan-friggn-tastic, the show was an eyeful, and the folks are always the best!

I am so happy to have friends like these! Love to all for 2006

xoxo
