Royal Hawaiian Closed?

My buddy goes to the Royal Hawaiian in Laguna Beach all of the time and he said that the last two times he's tried to go there for drinks, they have been closed. All of the times that he's gone have been regular business hours too so he's not just an idiot showing up when they're normally closed. The rumor is that the board of health have stepped in and locked it up but that is PURELY a rumor as far as I have heard. They just replaced the decayed or stolen tikis out front too so hopefully they're not closed for good.

We'll get to the bottom of this.
