"If" by Rudyard Kipling (Image Heavy)

A

If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs

And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,

If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

--Rudyard Kipling
Thanks to Humu and Bargoyle for the pics I "borrowed". I borrowed a few more but I forgot where I got them. PM me and I'll give you credit.

Thanks Al-ii. You are a classy guy.

Very Nice AL!!!

If....
I saw a cartoon once that said,
"If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs..
That means you don't have a freakin' clue what's going on and you better get with the program!"

Nice pics, and nice presentation. It's good seeing alot the old TCers from early on. A few of them actually still post----not very often though. Where'd you go Baxdoggy?

Al, I already told you in person, but man that was a really cool thing of you to put together. Even though I dont go way back with the TC crowd.
It stil means alot to see the Family/Community like that.

Even though its divided and some are at BHJ now.

You Da Man Al,
thanks for the ride home last weekend.

Bump for this great post from Al!!!

And here's another great post he did last year.

I have a bunch of pics that I'd like to post, but I don't want to derail the poem here on this thread. Maybe I'll start a new thread?

That picture with C-al and his girlfriend doing a dance dip has me, Lucas Vigor, in the background playing my old p-bass! I think that was International Tiki Day at Al-ii's fantastic house!
