Hi Folks! Just a quick post to say I should be posting some pics and info about POCKETIKI Magazine - 'For Today's Sophisticated Suburban Savage', over the weekend. A couple of hours ago I produced the final 'proof copy' to check over, before printing next week. As per last issue I will be producing 50 Limited Edition 'colour cover and Nude Hula Honey centrespread' copies. If that weren't enough we are including 10 different 'BRITIKI' promotional postcards and wait for it... A 7 song sampler exclusive numbered cd by those crazy Germans - HULAPUNK! Only available with these limited edition copies. HULAPUNK are playing at this year's HUKILAU so you'll get to check them out in advance.

We would love to have put a cd in all of the regular copies too, but it is just not possible at present. One day, if I get reasonable distribution, I may be able to put cds in ALL the copies, but until then.... Apart from the cost of cds, labels and poly sleeves, I actually burnt every one of them on a X2 vintage cd burner! That's 10 minutes for a twenty minute cd (thereabouts). Yeah! I know!! They look and sound great though, that's why I want to post some pictures of the whole 'bagged' package. And, in case you are wondering, NO, I didn't nick the idea off TIKI RACER's limited edition 'body bagged' hand painted Zombie Mugs either! How very dare you!!

I'm not sure how to distribute these yet, but I'm thinking that putting them on eBay will be best as the money they sell for will help finance the regular versions. It's a one man operation and the all the copies are produced by me, with a lot of passion and even more hard work! Not to mention a fair bit of dosh!

We love lists, but unless there are plenty of items available, too many people will get disappointed. So please don't ask to be added to the list. There isn't one. POCKETIKI is about having FUN! Not upseting folk! Remember...TIKI with a TWIST!

We are doing another cd compilation with the next issue entitled...yeah, you guessed it..., "POCKETIKI presents TIKI with a TWIST!". We already have a few bands/musicians who are booked in, so if any bands want to be considered, send us your info and more importantly...MUSIC! The more the merrier!!

Anyway, I'm dead beat (and a 'Deadbeat'!) so I'll sign off and get some sleep. TTFN!

Yes we have NO lists here! We love lists, we just DON'T DO lists! Maybe we could DO a list of the people who would like to be ON the list, if we HAD a list! NO, bad idea, must make a note of that on my list of bad ideas!!

Whoa! Now look!! I'm even dreaming lists!

Better get back to sleeZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Wahoo! I had a good night's sleep and the sun's out, so I'm heading out into the 'tiki jungle' to take some pics right now, before the rains come, ha, ha!! I'm out later, relaxing (Hey! I earned it!) with my tiki buddies...Happy Birthday CHRIS!, so I'll post the stuff tomorrow, when I'm feeling fit...enough. Mahalo Nui!

Have a great weekend everybody! - Trader Jim (Tonight Matthew I'm going to be...mostly drink MAI-TAIs!)

Hi TCers! As promised here are some pics of the limited edition version of POCKETIKI #2. Remember there are only 50 copies and not all of those will be available, my closest friends would kill me if they didn't get one! I've made a few 'MAHALO' versions for the main contributors so that the 50 aren't all gone before I get to offer them to you guys.

The Limited Edition version comes in a special card topped bag and sealed within are:

POCKETIKI Magazine #2 with Colour 'Hula Honey' centrefold courtesy of WINKYTIKI

Promo HULAPUNK 7 song CD Limited edition of 50 numbered copies

8 'BRITIKI' promotional postcards

The new issue has articles on:

MAHIKI London's latest, celebrity stuffed tiki bar!

PACIFIC ENCOUNTERS - an article on the world's largest exhibition of Polynesian
Art held here in Britain last year, and the effect of British and European
involvement in collecting during the 18th and 19th century.

Of course, those crazy Germans - HULAPUNK!

HOT ROD TIKI and their hot tiki themed motors!

Last year's LONDON LUAU - pics galore!

WINKYTIKI - Hula pin-ups aplenty with an awesome 'Aloha Boys' centrefold - HOT!

Wendy Cevola & Gecko's DA BLOODY MAORI severed head mug!

Tiki Racer's review of the ALOHA WAVE LOUNGE in Prague!

Three great competitions to WIN a MAHIKI or a ZOMBIE tiki mug, a vintage European tiki mug and...buy the magazine and find out!

Plus...much, much more!!!

As per the premiere issue there are 60 pages (inc. covers) so you'll have plenty to read as well as great images to look at!

We are obviously going to print a regular copy which should be out pretty soon. The limited copies are produced to kick start the the production of the regular copies. Sadly we don't have the economies of scale to be more efficient. Anyway, when you hold any POCKETIKI Magazine you know it has been created and actually put together by Trader Jim personally! It's a lot of hard graft, but I think it's worth it.

The available mags will go eBay and a few will go to local events here in Good Ol' Blighty, I think this is the only way I can manage the selling of them. It has worked well for distribution of POCKETIKI #1! I have a few of the limited edition 'LONDON LUAU 2006 launch copies' of the first mag around somewhere, so I'll try to find them and put them up as well. Maybe I could do a 'matched pair of numbers' auction? That would be cool!

Anyway, they should be finished for next weekend all going well so I'll post again when we list them. They will go on at £12.50 as they have cost a lot to produce. Forget the hours and hours of time that has gone into it, I enjoy the 'Wonderful World of Tiki' so you get that FREE! As well as the magazine and its colour pages, I have had to buy cds, sleeves, labels, bags, produce some postcards, card backed envelopes etc. So I think that £12.50 (plus postage) is a good price for a great read, look and listen!..and a possible future collectable. Only you can decide whether you want one or not! The regular version will not be bagged, have a cd or postcards and will be £3.50 (plus postage) like last time. I've had great feedback from all of you who bought issue #1 - Thanks, it means alot!! I must be doin' something right at last!! Had to happen...just a long time comin'!

Thanks also to everyone who has asked about subscriptions. As we have said we (I) do this for the fun of it (doesn't always seem like fun at the time) and I don't need to put myself under any more pressure to get the next copy out or indeed upset you guys by dragging my heels. No subscriptions - The next one is ready when it's ready! Also I am not taking paid adverts, but again, thanks for asking. Any advertising in POCKETIKI is generally in the form of an article or if I like something so much, I just gotta tell everyone about it! Anyone wanting to stock POCKETIKI let us know.

Thanks for your 'staying power' and interest - Trader Jim (Make mine...a best seller? Ha, ha).

Wow, looks like you've outdone yourself again! The first one is amazing, I can't wait to see this one! Good articles, Great images, and wonderful layout!

Oo-oo ah-ah!

Nice job Trader Jim - I know the amount of bloody, sweat and mai tais you put into Pocketiki, it shows. Looking forward to a cracking good read, new stories and some great eye candy...

V

I can't wait to have it, fantastic.

Hi Trader Jim
Looks great mate, can't wait to see it in the flesh and have a good read! While listening to Hula Punk in the background!! Looking forward to reading about the cars!!!! Don't forget to keep us one aside, and hope to catch up with you guys on Friday!

P

Hey! Thanks for all the positive comments, it means a lot to me. I've been busy, real busy!, trying to get this baby to bed.

Yesterday didn't quite go to plan, thought I'd make a couple of small changes before hitting the print button and managed to lose the CoCo-Nut / Rum Demon article lead page and a page from the 'English Wedding...Tiki Style!' article! Doh! Silly schoolboy error, luckily I had backed it up and as able to save the situation. I printed and cut out the card toppers for the limited edition bags, which surprisingly, went fairly smoothly?

And quickly!!

Tonight was pretty hectic sorting out the black and white on cream card version of the cover for the 'regular' run. Trying to get the contrasts how I wanted them took some time but I'm pleased with the final result.

Brought another 'proof' copy home for one last final read. I'm sure there'll still be plenty of errors for you guys to pick over though, so don't worry, ha, ha!

Tomorrow night I'll be printing the guts of the magazine in order to try and get some copies ready to take to 'Wheels Day', the Surrey Street Rodders' custom show this Good Friday. Touch and go right now but it won't be for the lack of effort!

I should be able to get a fair bit done with the hope of packing and finishing off the bags on Thursday night. So...fingers crossed for Good Friday! I'll probably be hanging around the HOT ROD TIKI stall trying to get them to off load some on unsuspecting hot rodders and innocent bystanders! Roll up, roll up!!

Anyway, I'm off to read the final bits and get some sleep, ready for tomorrow...MAHALO & TTFN!

All the Best from POCKETIKI - Trader Jim (Make mine a 'Horlicks' for bedtime!).

P

It's late Wednesday night and things didn't go so well at work tonight. They closed the building early and there are no late meetings so it looks like it will be early doors tomorrow too. I'm going to get some much needed shut eye and try to get in early tomorrow so I can drill the card toppers before I start work. If I'm lucky I may get a few copies finished before kicking out time. That way I can bring them back to Tiki Towers and bag the whole shebang! Miracles do happen...don't they? I WILL get this POCKETIKI out even if it kills me!!! And it just may. I'll try to post tomorrow with an update. Thanks for all the emails guys, it really is appreciated...Keeps me going just knowing you care - Mahalo!

Take care - Trader Jim (Make mine...an early alarm call!).

Trader Jim, I must commend you for your true grassroots work for Tiki, it makes me feel like the old days of Tiki News..or, even better of Punk, where fanzines really blossomed (I was there: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079763/fullcredits [see bottom credit]) :)
To me, Tiki is all about how the individual is inspired to re-make it in its own way, and there is nothing more REAL than a do-it-yourself effort that brings across the visual power of the style consummately, without reeking of commercialism. An honest "Underground" effort carries Mana that is ultimately more seductive (to me) than any slick industry product.
This goes for so many artists of the Tiki revival, who still work for the love of it rather than the moolah, and this makes me hang out here on TC, to get that warm happy feeling when continually I witness the inspirational power of the god of the artists.

The first issue was very interesting and well done Trade Jim. Since I am privileged to be in the second issue with my buddy Gecko I am especially excited to get my hands on a copy (maybe ten copies), can't wait. I'm so happy the time is near. Wendy

P

It's gone three in the morning, here in England, and I've just finished bagging, stuffing and numbering the few copies of POCKETIKI #2 I managed to get done today! I went to bed at around two this morning and was up at around 6.30am! Sian took me into work for 7.15am where I spent some time drilling the card toppers and preparing a small insert for this issue's Tiki Competition (more on that later). Lunch time I finished the insert and reminded the guys in the print room that the engineer hadn't been to fix the dodgy copier that I intended to use later that evening.

I went off to a meeting and on my return was greeted by the engineer who informed me that if I was lucky I might just get away with some printing, if I kept my fingers crossed! GREAT! Well I sent a short run to the copier and they looked fine. I just needed to run them through the folding machine and I was home and dry!

That's when it all went 'orribly wrong!!!!! The machine would just not take the copies and was skewing them and eventually chewed them up, but didn't spit them out! We, the print room guys and myself, spent the next hour digging around at the machine with screw drivers and bent wire trying to remove all of the paper that had wrapped itself around umpteen rollers. NOT GOOD! Chas wheeled out the old antiquated back-up folding machine which took some clear test sheets without batting an eyelid. Wahoo! It really didn't like POCKETIKI though and chewed great lumps out of the first few copies before giving up the ghost entirely! Bollocks!

I needed to print some more copies so whilst we figured out what to do twenty squiffy copies came rolling off the copier. What the...? I couldn't believe it! The pages were all over the place, just like your auntie after a few sherries at a family do! This was not happening...ONLY IT WAS! The next batch were o.k. and with the print room guys bidding me farewell as they headed off for the Easter break, wishing me good luck and saying how sad they were that this had turned into such a nightmare...I ploughed on! It took me several hours and a damn good pair of trousers to get just a few finished but I DID IT!!!!!! YES I BLOODY WELL DID IT!!!!!!

I kid you not, I split my bloomin' trolleys whilst tryin' to get POCKETIKI finished! Now, whatever way you look at it, that has to be incredibly bad luck!?!!

Whoops that's torn it!

These pictures might be posed, Sian brought the camera along when she came to pick me up at around 8.30pm as she said no one would believe such a thing could happen, but they are genuine. Belive it or Not Mr. RIPley, I tore the seat right out of my pants for the greater good of TIKI! STRANGE BUT TRUE!

Anyway, it's now 3.30am and I really must go to bed. I do have some finished copies, very few at the moment, and will put some up on eBay over the weekend.

Wendy! Your 'MAHALO' copy will be in the post after the Easter Break! I think you and Dan are going to enjoy this one even more than the first! Also thanks Sven for your very encouraging words, they really hit the mark. You see, like you, once a punk rocker, always a punk rocker! That's why I was so keen to do the HULAPUNK cd, it really is FUN! I guess you may have seen them in Germany? Everyone should see them, end of story! I'm glad you appreciate our (my) approach to documenting what's happening out there, we really are looking for 'TIKI with a TWIST' in POCKETIKI, there is some wild stuff about and we want in! MAHALO!

Damn! Look at the time! Catch you later - Trader Jim ( Make mine a... ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz).

HEY NOW! If you guys are not going to treat this 'industrial accident' seriously how am I ever going to make a serious insurance claim, so I can give up all the hassle of doing POCKETIKI and retire to HAWAII?

As for the "personalized" copy? Well truth is I trimmed the slightly 'damaged' edge on the guillotine and 'Hey Presto!', you'd never know!! And the truth is of course, that anyone who does get a Limited Edition copy....WILL NEVER REALLY KNOW! Sweet!

We will be putting them on eBay tomorrow (maybe tonight if we have the energy). Remember the first few copies sold will buy me new trousers for work. So hurry up as I go back to work next Thursday!

Have a great day one and all! We're off to the Hot Rod Hootenanny - Wahoo!!!!

Take care - Trader Jim (Make mine a Fudge Brownie!).

I'm not sure if it was a major problem with TC in the early hours of this morning but try as I might I couldn't put this update on? Probably just the 'Curse of POCKETIKI #2'! Anyway, better late than never...here it is...

Well, they're on! We just posted 5 copies of the limited edition POCKETIKIs with HULAPUNK cd and BRITIKI postcards and 10 regular black and white copies. We will be producing more copies of the regular version obviously, so no need to bid more than the opening bid folks!

As for the limited edition copies, we have listed the lowest numbers that will be for sale, we are keeping numbers 1 & 2 for ourselves! First one up is #3 the lowest number that will be for sale.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=150110408219&rd=1&rd=1

I genuinely don't know exactly how many will go up for auction as I have friends, close friends, who want copies too! My nephew, who up until now, has scorned my interest in 'Tiki' has said he wants one. I gave him the choice of the regular black and white that comes with 'no added extras' or the bagged limited edition copy with the cd and postcards, you know what? He went for the ltd ed copy! THAT'S MA BOY!!! Looks like I may be able to get him into tiki after all so he can take on the POCKETIKI tiki collection when I'm to old and frail to lift a tiki mug! Right now, with all the work on POCKETIKI, that seems like two weeks away, ha, ha!

If you don't get one, I will be saving one for a competition in Issue #3.

Sorry this hasn't been the smoothest of operations, but no one ever said this life was ever gonna be easy!

We gave Jamie & Anjy (CHEEKYTIKI) and Dave & Sue (HOT ROD TIKI) their 'Mahalo' copies yesterday at the car show. They were well received. Dave just ripped open the packaging and went straight for the centerfold....

THAT'S MA BOY!!! Come to think of it, I think I've seen him do that before?
As for the cars at the show...I loved this 60s East Coast Style Green Metalflake Hot Rod!

And this 50s Kustom Chevy with it's TIKIs Easter Island Moai Mug Satin Black paint job and......

...its wicked tiki toothed grin!

Anyway, once again I've burned the midnight oil to extinction so I'll bid (that is supposed to be a subliminal message, bid, geddit?) you goodnight and sleep tight!

All the Best from Tiki Towers - Trader Jim (Make mine a Mai-Tai!).

P.S. Happy Easter Break! What's left of it!!

Dang, Jim, I bet if you would have known you could have had the centerfold with the SAME Tiki, but with ME instead of the babe, you would have changed it to this historic 1989 photo, taken the day I discovered Oceanic Arts in Whittier (which eventually led to the Book of Tiki!).

"Dr. Livingston, I presume!"

But then, your friend Dave might have not displayed the same enthusiasm he demonstrated for Adrianna Sage (wait, how come I know her name..!?).
Or at least I hope not. :D

Now you tell me! Where were you when I was looking for the perfect pin-up? Thanks for posting the photo it just goes to show the importance of lighting in a shot! I think you're showing a little too much leg for Dave's liking and I know he prefers 'Girls, Cars 'n' Tikis'! You just haven't lived until you've seen him lick the rusty chrome off a old Chevy bumper or the cold paint detail off an old Butlin's Beachcomber mug...Mighty impressive I can tell ya! He's a great guy, I mean it, I'm proud to have him as a friend!! I'm sure he'd say the same about me right now, ha, ha!

Must just add, thanks for the previous posting, I really appreciated it. I read it after a particularly tough time with the mag and it was very uplifting and emotional too!!

I hope it is obvious to any one who reads POCKETIKI that I just love this stuff, I'm certainly no expert, but again, I hope my passion more than makes up for that. It is great fun (hard work, but great fun), researching material for the magazine, I'm a keen learner and I have got some cracking subjects lined up for the next issue. One or two were meant to be in this one but I had to pull them to make way for extra information I had for the PACIFIC ENCOUNTERS article. The thorough research I did on Adriana (Adrianna amongst other spellings and a.k.a.s) sadly didn't make the magazine, but I think was a necessary part of understanding the whole culture. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! You can keep YOUR dirty little secret quiet my friend!!

Finally, encouraging to see some action on the first POCKETIKI #2s up for sale, maybe I'll be able to pay off some of the print bill and get some more done when I go back to work on Thursday. Until then....Pass the sun lounger and make mine a Mai-Tai!

Trader Jim.

I am glad, thank you. It took me a while, I know......but I can't make that stuff up, I write when it hits me, and then it's honest and better.

Well alright then, here is my dirty little secret, if the world must know:

Hi teaKEY! Just about on the button there! The 'Fancy L' is in fact a pound sign (£) the same as your dollar sign but worth a little more in today's economic climate I'm afraid. I think the exchange rate is around 1.9 dollars to the pound so your math was about right. Go to the head of the class!

I made a monumental howler a few years back when I tried to get a 2nd edition set of the 5 SHAG mugs! I actually got through on the phone from Good Ol' Blighty to Tiki Farm Ca., a feat in itself, and was asked to press the 'pound key'. Doh! How was I to know what that was? I couldn't see anything like an 'English pound sign' on the keypad? Frantic pressing and ultimately 'bashing' of keys got me nowhere. If only I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have made such a 'hash' of it! Go to the back of the class!! Oh, the cruel irony of it all, but Hey!...Viva la difference!!! Much more fun for one and all. Besides, it wasn't my first tiki disappointment, nor will it be my last I'm sure.

Hope you enjoy the mag when you get it! We're quietly confident you will. Make sure you enter the competition on the flyer enclosed!

Great thread to read, I missed the auction for the limited edition with the CD, I'm watching for the next one. I love the photos of your split pants. The jammed copier reminds me of the time I did a stop action movie, spent a week moving the clay pieces and then found that no film had moved through the movie camera, I got a blank roll back. I did it all again and then it worked just as you now have a super magazine out there. #### never forget! Wendy

Hey Jim
Issue #2 is great, especially the centrefold as you can see by the pic further up the post, mmmm that ink has a great taste!i recommend the limited colour edition to people as that centre pic is way cool!!

Hi Trader Jim

Thanks for the mahalo copy of issue 2. Arrived safe and sound at the tikiracer studio/bar, today.
And YES I did open it right after the photo. Great package [No smut please matron] and all the effort really shows.

Can't wait for issue 3!

Did you? Did you really? We wanna see the photo! Don't forget these are readers folks! No window shopping here, please! I went back to work today after a well earned break and found the engineer repairing the copier that has given me so much grief of late. He was there all day bless him and Chas, in the print room, informed me it was running like a dream! Then why oh why couldn't I get one single copy through the bloody thing with out it jamming tonight?!!! I had to give up before I broke something other than a blood vessel! Those who have got a copy of POCKETIKI #2, look after it as it could prove to be a lot rarer than you or I thought!

Still, there's always tomorrow!

Thanks to all of you who looked in on the eBay auctions and congratulations to those of you who picked up a copy. They'll be in the mail tomorrow, unless Tiki Towers gets struck by lightning! It is Friday the thirteenth tomorrow of course, so who knows...The Big Kahuna I guess. Please Big Fella, break the Curse of POCKETIKI #2!

As for issue #3, whilst that would seem a little premature right at the moment, I actually did do a small bit tonight so that the evening wasn't a total disaster! Looks good though I say so myself!

Good luck for tomorrow folks! - Trader Jim (Make mine a Mai-Tai or two!).

Yes Trader Jim I did open the package of many shiny things.

Just to prove it, I took time out of my busy day, being a henchman to a evil genius mastermind, to take some photos..

Hands full of goodies

looking at the pictures, I'll get help with all the big words

Glad to hear it TIKI RACER! After all, I did open the 'body bag' on your Limited edition ZOMBIE mug!!

Just a quick note to say that we have put two more of the 'bagged' limited edition POCKETIKIs on eBay, #11 & #12. I've managed to get some more black and cream regular copies done tonight as the engineer did some sterling work and fixed the copier/printer today...Thanks Mark! The folding machine still destroys as many as it successfully folds though so this will be a long slow process but bear with us, we will keep printing them so long as you want to buy them.

I also corrected a piece of text that had somehow gone missing (hidden behind the cartoon in the editorial bumpf) so those who bought early copiers have the rarer 'Ballsed-up' edition, ha, ha! No refunds!!!!

Thanks for your support guys! Trader Jim - make mine a Mai-Tai...A LARGE ONE!

so the ones on Ebay are ready to ship right? Anyone get theirs yet.

I got my normal edition this morning and its a great read, also it solved the mystery about who'd bought my work at last years London luau.

  1. All the paid for POCKETIKIs are winging their way to their new owners right now, if they haven't turned up already! Let us know what you think when you get yours teaKEY!

  2. Glad you enjoyed it! Just so you know my friend Sean just loved the 'Wee Drunken Tiki', as did we(e)!!!! A really fun piece of tiki art! Look forward to seeing more of your stuff art The LONDON LUAU if you are showing again?

Quick update...The curse has been lifted!!!

It was the bloody paper that was giving me such a headache during the folding! I had said that I didn't think the new paper was as good as the paper I used on issue one, and do you know what? It bloody well wasn't!! I was right for once, Chas in the print room found a box of the old stuff and tonight I manged to run out 40 copies of issue 2 and 50 copies of issue 1 (for those of you who just realised that you don't have the first issue!). This is so much more than I had done since the mag was finished a couple of weeks ago! I'm so pleased, and relieved, that I will be able to keep up with the demand now. Thanks to all the 'Sophisticated Suburban Savages' for your patience and enthusiasm for POCKETIKI Magazine.

All the Best from Tiki Towers - Trader Jim (Make mine a Mai-Tai!).

We got our limited edition, very smart packaging, we slit the side and took out the treasures. Excellent postcards. The quality of the paper in the magazine is outstanding. I'm very happy with my article and how you did the photos of the Bloody Maori and the Maori masks. Dan had fun seeing his photo in there too. We love your British humor. My ancestry is also British Trader Jim.

Tomorrow we are off to Forbidden Island for their anniversary, I'll have to carefully take my copy to show off!

Thank you very much, Wendy and Dan too

Woo-hoo! Love it!

Mahalo for the 'mahalo' copy...

Hi folks! Just to let you know that we have the last five copies, that will be available before the LONDON LUAU on the 8th June, of the limited edition 'bagged' POCKETIKI #2 complete with postcards and HULAPUNK cd, on eBay at the moment.

Ends Sunday 20th at 22:24:49 British Standard Time / 14:24:49 Pacific Daylight time.

We have saved some copies for this event, as it is the only UK tiki gathering at present, and we know that quite a few people have said that they will buy one there, especially the European tiki fanatics who are coming over. The link to the POCKETIKI eBay shop is:

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Pocketiki-Magazine

The numbers are #45 through to #49.

There is the possibility that we may of course have some copies left after the LUAU, in which case we will probably list them. If you want to be guaranteed a copy we suggest you go on eBay NOW and pick up a 'bagged' edition while you can! The colour 'Hula Honey' centrefold (Adriana Sage with huge Oceanic Arts Tiki) is worth it alone, let alone the 'exclusive' 7 song HULAPUNK cd!!!

Remember....We only produced 50 copies for sale to tiki fans and some 'Mahalo' copies for the main contributors. WHEN THEY ARE GONE...THEY ARE GONE!!!

Good luck - Trader Jim (Make mine a Mai-Tai!).

PS. There are still some regular copies of POCKETIKI #1 in the shop too, if you missed it before. Plus a couple of great tiki pendants!

Just a reminder that there is now just under 24 hours until the 5 limited edition 'bagged' POCKETIKI #2s complete with HULAPUNK cd and BRITIKI postcards finish on eBay!

Those coming to the LONDON LUAU will be able to pick up a copy as we have saved some back especially. These will be available at the Art Gallery / Trading Post, strictly on a first come first served basis.

It is touch and go as to whether issue #3 will be ready in time for the LUAU, but we have something quite special in store for the limited edition of that one...more details later. Anyway, pop over to eBay if you haven't already grabbed yourself one.

Details above. Happy bidding!
