This post reminded me of an article I read in Forbes a few weeks ago. They talked about the big problem Zippo is having with Chinese knockoffs and the fact that ALL of their lighters are made in the US. Doh!

Great article...makes this thread all the more interesting. :o

I think I need to buy myself a lighter:

Should I get the Raidas Zippo

or the Flocking Bats Zippo

OR maybe the Zippo Inferno?

I like the vinyll bear, that is cool. But I think that I'll buy from someone a little more reputable.

That's why I posted links to the official Zippo online store.

It's the Name in Flame!

Hey! They've got 75th Anniversary lighter designs!!

Remember These Tips for Riding

  • You should arrive at your stop at least five minutes early. Wait on the sidewalk or in the bus shelter where the coach operator can see you.
  • As the bus approaches, check the sign above the front window to be sure it will take you to your desired destination. If it's the correct bus, signal the operator that you wish to board.
  • Stay back from the curb and wait until the bus comes to a complete stop.
  • Be ready with exact change, bus pass or transfer before you board. If paying an economy fare, show your ID to the operator.
  • If you need a transfer or a Day Pass, be sure to request one from the coach operator before paying your fare.
  • The coach operator or bus will announce major stops and intersections. If you are not familiar with the area, feel free to ask the operator to call out your destination.
  • When you are about one block from your desired stop, pull the cord or press the bell tape next to the window.
  • Gather all your personal belongings and exit through the rear door, unless you have a bike stored in the bike rack. In that case, you should exit from the front.

How much you may charge for the bus ride?
