Look at this (upper right corner). "Pomegranate syrup, white rums, and Spanish Ojen", eh? I've always used Trader Vic's recipe, despite the fact that he admits he wasn't the inventor. Can anyone shed any light on the Don the Beachcomber recipe? |

Spanish Ojen is a type of anise liqueur - from Spain, obviously. |

From my checking, I found this: Ojen I've been looking for reasons to use pomegranate...this could be a good one. Try some different proportions of white rum, pomegranate syrup, and Ojen (or a substitute). Maybe: 2 oz white rum Depending on how sweet the syrup is, you could cut with lemon or lime juice. |
