So who says no good deed goes unpunished? I am helping my good friend pack up her recently passed away grand mothers house so they can put it up for sale. Her dad knew I was a tiki collector and told me that they had a Trader Vic's Chinese Oven that I could have. I didn't know what it was, I found a thread on here where someone rehabbed one, so I decided today that I am going to go and get it. It's in great shape and even has the little booklet that came with it. The hard part will be getting it home...and some minor clean up. I will post some pictures once I do get it home and clean it up. If anyone knows anything else about this thing, please let me know. |

Sweetness! Good score, and, seriously, paint the Raiders logo on it. |

Wow, a real Chinese oven from TV's? I was just at Vic's today and I read on their menu that their ovens are from the Han Dynasty! Pretty cool find--I can't wait to see pictures of it! Take care, I. |
