CASI Florida St Chili Championship - Oct 6th - Deland

The CASI (Chili Appreciation Society International http://www.chili.org/) Florida State Chili Championship is being held in Deland on October 6th. We'll be out there with the tiki bars in force, cooking up 5 gallons of chili for the public, and our competition chili to be turned in for judging.

We'd love it if some folks had time to come out and visit, the support would be awesome. Here's a link to the cookoff:

We'll be getting setup around 8am, the public comes in I believe at 11am, and we'll be handing out chili at that time. The competition chili gets turned in at 2pm, so I expect we'll be complete by 3:30-4pm at the latest with judging and packing up.

This will be our third chili competition. Our first one was a good learning experience, our second we took first place out of 15 teams from Florida and Georgia combined. The competition on the 6th of October is a Florida Championship, so I'm sure it'll have the cream of the crop in attendance.
