NO RESERVE!!! wow! you are looking at a very rare scorpion bowl from steve crane's luau restraunts circa 1950s. designed by gabe florian for steve crane...made by HF pottery...marked "designed by steve crane associates" on the bottom. see pic. this is serious tiki...this bowl is pictured in sven kirsten's new book "tiki modern" see page 52 ...also in the book "tiki quest" by duke carter, page 77-78. now...given the age this bowl has faired pretty well. there is crazing and 5 small chips. (see pics). the bowl is about 5 1/2 at widest part...the tikis are 6 inches tall. otherwise BEAUTIFUL...colors are bright...glaze still shiny.,.................................Item number: 120165760452 [ Edited by: closettiki 2007-09-25 21:46 ]
