You can get this stuff called 'Quake'at some hardware stores..Restorations, a fancy hardware home furnishings store is one place I've seen it...it's sort of like a kneaded eraser that's pliable and sticky. Put some small wads on the bottoms, and mash it down on the shelf. It's surprisingly strong. You might try an art supply store....explaing what you're looking for...museums and art galleries use stuff like it to hold objects steady during exhibitions and such. Good luck. |

I have used this stuff for years and it has saved tea-cups and china in my shakey California homes. It is easy to use too. |

museum wax ... available at most art supply stores or through archival products/museum supply companies. Try Gaylord (www.gaylord.com) or University Products (www.archivalsuppliers.com). Reversible and won't stain. |
