Being Jewish at Christmas

Pages: 1 2 replies

MelWaldorf (Meshugga Beach Party), his wife and daughter were interviewed on how Sasha believes she can fix it with Santa for all the other Jewish children. It's an adorably hilarious interview.

What's tiki about it? Not really a darn thing, except that you get to listen to the band's music during parts of the interview.

It's really worth the listen and if anyone out there thinks this isn't the right place to post this then I'm happy to remove it, but I thought you all might enjoy the share.

Hilariously good!

Looooove that surfin' Havah Nagilah! Sign those guys up for a kosher luau!

Of course, as this particular shiksa has been informed since marrying into a Jewish family -- Santa has his faith counterpart in a nice gent called Hanta Klaus (strong aspiration like you're clearing phlegm on that first H).

Or there's the "Saturday Night Live" version -- Hannukah Harry. Unfortunately, HH only delivers sensible presents to good little Jewish boys and girls, such as socks and underwear.

I hope retrodiva doesn't mind if I put in an additional plug for Meshugga Beach Party.

La Verandah had to check out the web site and lo, they are funnier than my husband's Uncle Jack dressed as Queen Esther for Purim -- traditional Jewish songs played a la surf guitar, who knew?
