Hey, I have one of these marked with the old, old logo for "Kings Island" amusement park on the back.
Hummmm....I wonder....
No, I think I'll keep mine.
Never seen one before or since I purchased mine at the flea market for a buck.

I wonder who actually manufactured this style mug.

Just because it says "bali hai" on it doesn't mean that its from the old place on Ponchartrain Beach in New Orleans. IN FACT, I would bet my testicles that mug is NOT from the Bali Hai on the Beach AT ALL, as they wrote the name of that restaurant "Bali Ha'i" pretty consistently and I have seen that font/logo used on other mugs that came from one of the many other "BALI HAI"'s that used to exist. The seller is from Florida, which tells me there is no regional reason to suspect this mug was from THAT Bali Hai.. he/she is making some pretty lofty assumptions.

SO, in conclusion friends, someone paid a premium for a fired-on decal with some bamboo lettering.

Let's be careful out there.

Over and out.

oh sure- I've got a bunch of the mugs, a set of the s/p's, and a postcard or two- I think I may even have a menu

They are the best "bob" style mugs made imho
