Tiki-Ray at Viva Las Vegas *( new pinup pics )*

April 10th thru the 12th I will be vending at the main entrance of the Arizona room at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino . It is the 11th year for this Rockabilly fest with tons of bands , hotrod cars , gambling vintage clothing and even a tiki party on Sunday by the Orleans pool . I will be sharing the large triple vending space with Cynthia from My Vintage Hut . She sells vintage clothes and creates amazing hair flowers for the girls and the pinups . Her work has also been used by Kat Von D .Its a great spot because there is always a pinup signing at the booth and everyone loves to take pics with the tikis there as well .There is a huge tiki following by these people who are fans of the same era . Ill be selling tikis ,pendants and tiki shift knobs for the ratrod cars . Hell , just come by and check out the pinups . What more do you need ?

The Tiki Pimp is always surrounded by his chicks! And as far as working his wood too hard......ummmmm haven't you noticed he went from carving 6 footers down to 3 footers?? Ever since he turned 47, he just can't handle lugging around the big wood! :o

oh, sheesh. the whole tiki contingent is invading our town.

Please come by and say hi all and take some pics . Last year everyone used the backdrop of my tikis as a Kodak photo spot . I should have something similar this year .The pinups love shooting with the fans as well . And thanks Dave for remembering the Rusic shirt . Maybe you can throw some in my booth and sell some . You will need the money for the craps tables and hookers .

For those of you who are on the fence, It's a great time, and The pool party/Luau on Sunday is always mellow and fun and FREE, so if you are in the area, stop on by!
Tiki Ray's Tikis seem to have a strange power over beautiful women. . . every time I saw him last year he was surrounded by a group of young lovelies draping themselves all over his tikis!
He practically had to shoo them off so interested buyers could take a gander and his fine handiwork. (Which was moving like hotcakes I remember!)
Maybe they are hoping that the tiki will work it's 'bombshell magnet' powers for them as well!

Hey Susie , thank you once for all the kind words and thank you twice for the self portrait drawings of yourself (huba , huba ). Pinups and tikis just go hand in hand . I might even be doing some live carving if the casino permits . Come see me in my new loincloth .

What an amazing event . I sold 1 tiki plus took 6 orders . Its cool to know I will have pieces in Sweden and France . :) I sold out all my tiki necklaces and tiki shiftknobs . I had a whole polynesian backdrop set up for photos and Tiki Kinniki did an amazing job with the floral display . All weekend long the pinups kept showing up to take pics in my booth and do pinup signings as well .The infamous Dayna Delux and Sabina Kelly pulled me off my chair to do an interview for a new reality show called "The Pinup Life ". Sweeet !Here are some of the folks with me....
