rattan varnish

AM STARTING REFINISH ON A FRANKL ERA SET (CHAIRS,SETTEE,AND TABLES) AND WAS WONDERING IF THERE ARE ANY RECOMENDED MARINE VARNISHES TO USE(SPRAY TYPE) TO USE?

I dont know what the experts will say but I like to use amber shelac. makes the rattan look revived and gives it a nice warm color. easy to apply with a brush dries fast and low smell.

I agree with ST...I did this on suggestions from folks for some wicker and it turned out great. See cabinet in the background (behind the bar).
