Movie & Mai Tai Event Announced

Date: Saturday, September 20th
Time: NEW INFO go to: http://marylanddctiki.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=info&action=display&thread=538#2864
Movie at 3:30 pm / Shanghai Village at about 5:30 pm

This unique gathering of the local ohana will start at the Landmark Cinemas in Bethesda to enjoy a movie, then move over to the nearby Shanghai Village restaurant for an after movie social over Mai Tais.

The current favorite for a film is: "Burn After Reading"

Please reply as to your general interest. If response is especially strong, I will need to make special arrangements with the restaurant to accommodate a group past 10 people.

While going to the movie is a big part of this event, please do not excluded yourself if you can't possible make the movie, but can make cocktails afterwards. More is always the merrier, so feel free to invite some extra friends (just be sure to give me an idea of numbers for the restaurant).

Please also check http://marylanddctiki.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=info&action=display&thread=538#2864 for additional updates or to RSVP.

We'll keep that in mind for the next one. It would be great to have you down for a get together.

So what is the tiki scene like in Allentown, do you have at least one good place that makes a great tiki drink? Or if you want a decent drink you need to make it yourself?

Well, including likely coming leaners. We're looking at 7-10 ish right now. Always room for more...
