Well, here with the mead they are actually creating a fermented beverage. Do you mean just put rum in a coconut? |

I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me. I've certainly had drinks that weren't much more than rum (or was that tequila?) and lime juice served to me in a coconut. Keeping rum in a coconut for awhile to steep isn't much more revolutionary. However, I don't know how any better this would be than simply putting chunks of coconut meat into a bottle of rum -- other than the appearance. |
