The Jack Rose - Tiki Drinks and Food

A man can not live by Tiki drinks alone... or at least I can't...smile. Lately have been experimenting with the Jack Rose, and what a GREAT cocktail it is. Of course the secret to a great Jack Rose is homemade Grenadine. Otherwise it just doesn't cut it. I believe this is why you can count on your hand the number of bars in the US that serve a Jack Rose. I am fortunate enough to have one of those bars here in Nashville Tn. The Patterson House. I was curious if there were others here that were Jack Rose fans? Jack Rose 2oz Laird's AppleJack 1oz Lemon Juice 1/2oz Homemade Grenadine Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass, flamed orange peel and garnish with apple slice or maraschino cherry.

Jack Rose

2oz Laird's AppleJack
1oz Lemon Juice
1/2oz Homemade Grenadine
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass, flamed orange peel and garnish with apple slice or maraschino cherry.
