Hello All Time for a "Tiki Tike Playroom" Update. First off we would like to thank Big Toe and Doug Horne for creating 5 new TO coloring pages. I know that "free time" is hard to come by and want to thank Tom and Doug for creating the new pages. Ok now for a little " house cleaning". Here is a short list of rules for the Kid's Rooms Kids room DO's Come in with your kids and enjoy the crafts and shows. Free free to bring in lunch or snacks. I like M & M's with Pnuts. Bring in a beach towel to spread on the ground foe a rest or to watch the shows. Have fun and be nice. Kids Room Don't Use the room as Baby Sitting Service. If you would like to have a little time without the little Leave a mess from lunch. Please note That Tiki Oasis will not responable for your kids while they are in the room. Easy rules I hope. Keep your eyes open. We will have a couple special things to tell you all about in the next day or two. |

I know this is for Oasis and thats why we are all going - however if some of with or without kids are doing touristy stuff like for instance Sea world - here is a link to some discounted tickets (and note parking is $10 and I think there is a free shuttle form the Crowne Plaza) check the Mcdonald links - and buy on line (you'll need a printer) I hear the entrance lines CAn be long http://www.mousesavers.com/seaworldsd.html SWCFreeKids09, one child (3-9) gets in FREE with purchase of a full price single day adult (10+) admission. (Note there are other "kidless" discounts with this code SWCMCDONALDSSD09 - I think they expire end of September 2009) Just a thought... I put this near "kids area" as I figured parents may want this more than "others" |

I have always thought that it would be cool if some enterprising young people set up a baby sitting service in their family's room for Friday and Saturday nights. Bring a couple of board games and a DVD or something and take in a few kids durning the show and parties. I know I would pay if I still had young ones around. |

Great idea to have us artists donate some art for the little ones. It was fun to see what crayon creations the kids did, some were nice enough to bring them by my booth. Thanks for asking me to donate. I survived the head-hungry Jivaro tribe! [ Edited by: Swamp Fire 2009-08-24 16:34 ] |
