Just a reminder about Dec 9th and my new exotica quartet, Mr. Ho's Orchestrotica "mini." We'll be doing an arrangement of the Arab Dance from the Nutcracker Suite, "exotic" holiday tunes, new songs inspired by my recent musical adventures with La Tuza, Newpoli, Kafana, lots of years in orchestras, and rarely-heard music from Martin Denny and Milt Raskin's KAPU (thanks Cleve!). The Fireplace Restaurant (Brookline, MA) has a full bar and dinner menu and we start at 930pm ET. Unfortunately, they would not let me take over the bar menu and provide traditional tiki cocktails for the evening so you'll have to settle for an impressive wine list and their house specials. Did I mention it's a free/donation show? :wink: Saludos, and happy belated thanksgiving. I just got my copy of the new baxter album!
