Description:

OK, I'm going to need a little help with this one.

I picked up the dinner menu from the Aloha-Kai restaurant but there is no address and I have not been able to find anything else on the place. Need to look through Tiki Road Trip II to see if it is mentioned.

I have seen this menu before and always thought: Is Tiki Sick?

Some nice graphics on the inside

Prices from the early 1960s I would guess.

And the back cover art.

Anybody got an idea about this one?

Nevva hoid of it. But dang, that mask on the left in the last scan looks familiar, I've seen it somewhere else. Drawing a blank right now...

Judging by the typeface, the menu looks more late 60s/early 70s. Maybe it was in some podunk small town so the prices stayed low. :)

And that Tiki ain't sick, it's just a faithful rendition of a bent palm front Tiki, the kind like these guys:

He ain't among them, but you can see it in the style

DC, I think I just found your Aloha-Kai in Cleveland, Ohio...

That is a most unfortunate image. With the tongue out and hands around his middle......almost says "this food'll make you sick". Almost looks like he's about to lose his lunch.
