DIY: Bookcase

I like the Chicago Box style bookcase that can be found at DesignWithinReach.com, but I'm not wealthy Im the opposite. Also a fine example is the shelving in Ben Affleck's movie Bounce its in his apt. Anyways has anyone attempted to construct a modern bookcase and can assist with instructions or advice or point me in the right direction.
