I did the math it totally adds up...
Mojave Oasis + Tiki Caliente = Goin' Primitive
Great Art. Cant Wait For INFO!

J

A monkey with a fez ?? !!

Actually when I first saw the thread title, I thought this might be a GROG-themed event. :D

Yeah, GREAT flyer!
Nice work, Doug!

T

When do ticket sales go on?

Spike, are you not a graphic artist?
This art is created by David Wong not Doug Horne.

Monkeys would be much happier looking.

Tickets will go on Sale after Tiki Caliente.

People who come to Caliente will have first rights to book their spots and lock-in all that creepy goodness.

Amy(Mojave Oasis) and I (Tiki Caliente) been thinking about this for months. We both like the smaller more intamate Events and though this is a natural twist on tiki.

Think,
shrunkin heads,
Voodoo,
Halloween,
Cannibals

Looking forward to Goin' Primitive (as well as Primal, and Pre-historic).

Time to get our Ape on and go Bananas.

I'm talking King Kong baby!

RD

Six months of preparation will give me plenty of time to perfect the next mixology masterpiece.

“Sperm of Kong” will make its debut at the “Goin’ Primitive” crawl.

You had practice at Mojave, so I expect better at goin primitive, :)

Wow,the name of that drink makes me wanna go on the wagon......Dig?

Now Get that Monkey off your back or I will get Primitive on your ASS.......

bring your kids to Goin' primitive but please keep that organ grinder on a leash.

W

R

Where can we sign up? There are newbies that want to come now that they have seen the pics and heard the stories about Mojave Oasis.

SF

Great design,Hopefully you will sell posters of it. Or it would really look good on the back of a black t-shirt, or the front of a black tank top. Hint,Hint.

Soooo In

Jeff(btd)

J

Totally in.

It's interesting you would say that. Grog is in the first stages of creating the very limited edition mug.

Grog + David Wong = AWESOME

I may have to break new ground and rent an RV for this as I saw more of Barstow than I'd ever planned in my recent sojourn to M-Oasis. Maybe I'll bring a couple Jumbo Clowns as there's plenty of vertical art for them to climb and mount. What a photo shoot that would be...

If you are a fan of Tiki Caliente and plan on going to Goin'Primitive a sign-up desk will be set up to LOCK-IN your spot.
Amy(Mojave Oasis) will be at a desk taking deposits to hold your spot for this October Event.

Deposits will be $20 and you will be able to pick your spot out on the Map of the grounds.

Price list and Sample Event Mug will also be on hand for the Tiki Caliente crowd.

Be ready to go Primitive........

W

WICKED!!!

RD

Update on the Mug!!!!!!!

This for being a Primitive Show about going back to basics happens to be the Evolution of any mug I have ever seen.

Grog is a Caveman God.......Buy 2 because this mug is a game changer.

W

T

This is friggin' incredible. Great job Ernie!

T

Wow! Our favorite caveman was channeling his inner ape on this one. Looks awesome.

Stellar, Ernie! From the outer reaches of Tiki space, this guy could have been a bar denizen on this planet:

Nice work Ernie!

I'm in on the October event too. Can't wait!

Amy and I will be meeting up this weekend in Mojave to iron out Prices and performances for the upcoming Goin'Primitive Event.

We have had several talks already and you know that Ernie is already in the midst of making one of the greatest tiki mugs ever.

So believe we are planning on this being a great 1st time event from people who have done events before,so this should be close to being glitch free.

More information to come...............

If you have any suggestions please p.m. Myself or Queen K

Very poor planning on rorys part and Cindy and I are on a fencepost now. I just found out that this is the same weekend as the KISS Cruise. Do we want to spend the weekend with our friends or be stuck on a boat with Gene Simmons and his "Planet of the Apes" haircut? Then our lives will finally be complete and we can be buried in our matching KISS coffins. What to do ?

JOBU

Well that settles it. I'm going to Barstow. Could you imagine sitting next to this guy ? I'd have to roundhouse kick him overboard. Does he really think the band will be walking around the boat and hang with these people?

LOL Ray!

The emails Went out , I hope to see you all at Caliente and Goin Primitive! And for those who wanted the extra days, we added those as well. Thanks to all who suppoted us..

Well folks, you have seen the pages of photos of fun and frolic to be had at this desert island! A strange enchanted oasis to be experienced!

I know it's not MCM but what about this '40 Ford Woody?

That's it, I'll be coming in this:

..and I will bring Esquivel!

This is the new addition to Mojave Oasis, it's called a Delta Van Cruiser. It very much looks likes a hi-bred van/ Boat. It is unique to say the least. Here are some photos. I hope you like it.... We haven't determined a use for it yet, it does run, but our lake is really too small, but cool it is, built in the 70's with a mid-century modern fireplace. enjoy!

Amy

Very cool Amy - you're too much! I say you rent it out for sleeping just like the other vintage trailers.

It reminds me of a similar hybrid I say recently in an e-mail extolling the virtures of redneck technology (you're is much more suave of course)

T

Hey, that's blocking my fishing hole. Maybe we can troll with it when you mount some bass seats on the back. Too cool Amy.

M

Amy, how much for a 3 hour Tour? :)
