Recipe: Pago Pago (Milford) Mai Tai

1 oz Pago Pago Mai Tai Mix*
1 oz sour mix
1 oz Myers' Rum
1 oz silver rum

blend with crushed ice for 2 seconds and serve w/ lime wedge in double-old fashioned glass. You can play with the proportions. I've seen them made right in front of me and I know there wasn't any exact measurements going one.

So it's pretty much a Mai Tai with honey as we all suspected. (No, I don't know any chinese tiki joint not using sour mix.)

  • Mai Tai Mix: 1/3 honey, 1/3 orgeat, 1/3 orange curacao

Looks like they've closed shop. Something about old Chinese food restaurants and their mai tais that I love.
