The obscure Tiki establishment for today is the Tahiti Motel Inn located in lovely Sepulveda, CA. Evidenced by this matchbook and not much else.

Google Maps shows the Budget Inn Motel is located at this site and it appears to have been there a long time. I'm guessing it's the same place, stripped of its South Pacific decor.

Wow that must be old. That area was not very nice even when I was a kid 30 years ago. It's a terrible area now, I would not walk around there at night. Very cool to see though.

I always loved that Tiki-torch-holding-Tiki concept, they're not as common as one would think.

Well lookie here, a Tropics Cocktail Lounge was located just down the street from the Tahiti Motel on Sepulveda Blvd.
