It was created by THOR to highlight our feature story "Tiki in Comics." The magazine is printed and is in transit to San Diego. The mag will be available on Friday at the Tiki Mag release party at the Purple Orchid. Magazines will be shipped to subscribers next week.

When I saw that cute GECKO'S ad I knew it was gonna be good: Crazy Al's interesting musings, tracking his influence as an EARLY Tiki Revival artist on a later generation of Tiki Revival artists (- just as I had noticed that newer artists are doing that now in general...) And several people and places finally getting the attention that they deserve: The amazing work of Robb Hamel ! -stretching the limits of magazine printing contrast range. Swanky's history of the Mai Kai mystery girl tradition- revealing! The photo spread of Kirby's Rumpus Room- Sweet! John-O writing an article about the Hula Girls - Yeah! Tiki veteran's Dave and Rebecca's Purple Orchid hideaway turning ten...and so much more great stuff! Congrats Nick, this issue should sell like hot cakes at Oasis!

This was a tough issue to get out but, I'm pleased and very proud of it. I thought everyone who contributed did a great job. Looking forward to Oasis where Tiki Mag will have a new "retro" t-shirt and a limited edition poster.
