World wide celebration and anniversary mug. I have only been around a short while, but like Jeff says, there is a older history for some folks.

Sorry I wasn't more specific.
Where would be a great place (or places ~ reg. geography) to meet/reunite?

TC WAS BORN in S.F.....correct?

I suppose Boston's out?

How about it take place simultaneously on the same day in major cities just like Live Aid in 1985 or Wrestlemania II in 1986?

I like this idea, but have one official event (like in the SF area), and then someone from other areas plan local events. Like one person from Boston, sets up a Boston area event, one from NYC sets up a NYC event , etc. The "local" events could be more casual.

We Will meet on Easter Island under a full moon, at midnight we will toss a virgin into a volcano!!!! HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA.... Mahalo!!

If it ends up in the S.F. area I would probably try and attend. Seems like the most logical place. I also love the idea of it being celebrated at the same time everywhere possible. Who's in? Unga?

Definitely in.

 Al!!!

On Wednesday January 12th, 2000 Tiki Central was born. The 10 year anniversary of Tiki Central was already celebrated in 2010:

Look see here:

However, yes, on March 23, 2002, Tiki Central moved from Yahoo to the freestanding website which we have now.

So then, in order to take proper advantage of two different anniversary dates which can both be celebrated, they need to be properly distinguished.

January 12, 2000 = Birthday of Tiki Central
March 23, 2002 = To be determined.

So... what should it be? Any ideas?

I suppose it could be considered the Birthday of the New Improved Tiki Central.
Or maybe Tiki Central Independence Day?

I dunno...

Oh, and just for the record, March 23rd also happens to be National Chip and Dip Day as well as Near Miss Day.

How in the hell did that thread get past my radar?
(I think the god damn stroke erased some memory, I even posted to it.)
Sorry for the false alarm.
I was aware and a participant of the prior website.
I just never knew Hanford acknowledged that date as the beginning.
This website is really that started it all for me.

Oh well, whatever happens , happens.

I'll take any excuse to go to S.F. again. March 2012 is fine with me.
