Description: Restaurant located in the western Milwaukee area. It offered American & Polynesian food, nightly entertainment & dancing, and Sunday Luaus & Friday Hukilaus.

I had know idea this place existed until I ran across these 1962 ads while searching for something else.

I believe you may be right about that. The building in the ads looks close enough, and any remodeling over the years may have cut back the Polynesian-style overhangs to look like the current version. Unfortunately the drawing itself is not very clear. It is also easy to picture the mounted animal & waterfall display as a former tropical grotto. I haven't seen any pre-1962 or post-1962 information on the Bali Hai yet.


Good to finally figure out where these menu's on Arkiva Tropika came from. There was no address listed on them and I had always wondered about the location.
