Lucas Vigor: "I can't stay late and have cocktails with you guys, I have to go home and rehearse" or "I can't make that Tiki event, I have rehearsals" or "I had to drop out of that (Tiki) band, my other rehearsals take up too much time".

Sooo.... I may have to check this out. And Lucas, it better be good !! ( :D )

Alright, you rock!
OK, not quite the right expression for this. How about...
congratulation on playing at America's premier concert hall!

It's a heck of an honor!

I sang at the Disneyland's X-mas candle-light procession
when I was in 9th grade.
was pretty awesome, I think it was like 800 people,
and an orchestra.

some schools came from over 2000 miles away.
we were the closest, 3 blocks.

try a LOT more technical and a LOT more prestigious! Chamber Singers do classical music, while Glee club singers do nails, and hair. Absolutely no comparison.

I hope you busted out a little "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" on that Bass
just for fun!

TM

Nah! But I always entertain the section members when I do rockbailly slap bass....they LOVE it!

They also love the fact that I do it on heavy, steel, belcanto orchestral strings. Supposedly impossible for most rockabilly bassists to do....(seeing how they normally only use wimpy and easy to play gut strings and/or tape up their fingers to avoid the blisters and the pain)...... that's what separates the boys from the men!

:)

That's Classical "Punk"!

TM

Put it this way, I could never be a safe-cracker!

So the Big question is,
Is there Classical Music "groupies" backstage?
