Not bad sir. A nice blend of old and new. Looking good!

So I have to ask without jumping to any conclusions, what is up with this?

You posted this picture of one of your carvings

This is one I have in my home, It is from Jason at "Smokin Tikis"
and was designed by Doug Horne

By NO means is any of my stuff original, its all stuff I've seen on google images, tiki mugs or tikis I've seen in person. Hope I didnt offend anyone. Not sure who Doug is yet, but clearly he didnt make my hack job. I tried to make one I saw at Oceanic arts. I havent figured out how they did the eyes yet so mine looks like a cheap copy next to it.

Thanks for the info 7seas, If you don't mind hearing a word of advice:
some of those designs are copyrighted & commercially sold Tikis from Smokin Tikis
(The one at OA is the same one I have) & while you can't get in trouble for making a single
copy for your own use, but if you choose to sell one, that is a whole different can of beans
and posting pictures here of close copies (Most of these Artists & Sellers are on TC)
can get you some grief also.

Doug Horne is one of our premiere Tiki artist in the scene & even a nicer person
I am sure you have seen his art, maybe without knowing whom the artist is.

Keep up the good work but try developing your own unique style.

I'm always open to good advice, and won't make that mistake again. Thank you.
