Tiki Central / General Tiki

Another vintage home tiki bar bites the dust

Stevie Wonder is a house flipper and makes very good money doing it. From reading the real estate section in the Los Angeles Times I think quite a few music and movie industry folks supplement their income by house flipping.

4 years ago he purchased a 1928 Mediterranean house in Los Feliz for $2.407 million and after what looks like a complete tearing apart of the interior he is now trying to sell it for $8.199 million.

You can see the pictures of the remodeled house here:

The glassed in room is where the tiki bar used to be. It has been replaced with a white marble bar.

Pictures of the house before the remodel can be seen here:

Unfortunately they aren't very high quality.

Interesting post! It is certainly a shame to lose a home tiki bar, but fortunately Tiki Central is helping many to rediscover and build home tiki bars.

Stevie Wonder??!!

Has Stevie seen the results of the remodel?

(Ya know someone has to say it...)
