Don the Beachcomber coconut mugs

I'm curious when DTB started using their famous logo emblazoned coconut mugs? Does anyone know?

I just picked one up when I went to the International Marketplace last weekend. The date on the bottom is 2009.

I know they go back to least the 70s, but wasn't sure if they were using them much before that.

I took a look at a menu from 1965 and it had pictures of all the drinks, but no coconut mugs were in evidence. Still looking for earlier menus. I found a lo-res from 1941 that has what looks like a coconut mug, but I can't see any details.
