Aloha TC ohana!
A little over two years ago I stumbled upon "other crafts" and was amazed at the beautiful artwork everyone here was making. Feeling inspired, I decided I wanted to make a tiki mug. Not having touched clay since my freshman year in high school, I did google search for ceramics classes around Los Angeles, found a studio, and dove right in.

You can see my progression here:

It's been a lot of fun and I still have lots to learn, but I'd like to try selling some of my work, too.

I'll keep adding to this thread as I add items to my Etsy and eBay stores.

I'm always trying to improve, so please tell me what you'd like to see different. Your feedback is always appreciated.

The support I've received has been humbling and I can't thank those of you who have approached me through TC and supported me at the events enough! I hope I've made a positive contribution to the community.

Here, are two different Marquesan inspired tumblers that were thrown on the wheel. They have a trimmed foot, hand carved designs, and lead-free glazes. They're high fired at cone 10 for a superior quality ware. The top one is made with black mountain clay and has an apple green celadon glaze. The bottom is made with Russian River clay and has a matte black glaze in the carving. $30 each or I'll make a matching set of 4 for $100.

Easter Island Orongo Birdman Cult tumbler. Thrown on the wheel, carved, and glazed. $30

PNG mask that isn't in my Etsy store yet, so please PM me if interested. It's just over 12" tall and about 8.75" across at it's widest point.
Ready to hang. $150

My Etsy store is new, so I don't have any feedback yet, but I have over 2000 transactions with 100% positive feedback on eBay. http://www.stores.ebay.com/vintage-hawaiian-shirts-and-dresses

Mahalo for looking, happy shopping, and have a great day!

Aloha Everyone!
If you're heading down to Tiki Oasis, stop by and say hi to me at the Huntington Beach Art Walk. Checkout the sunset on the pier, stop by the Aloha Grill for a mai-tai, and checkout some of my tiki art.
I'll be displaying/selling my work from 6-9 pm at the Aloha Grill, located at 221 Main Street Huntington Beach.
Mahalo for the support and hope to see you there!

The mask and the mugs look great!

Thanks TLB, hope to meet you at one of the events soon!
