Moldy Tiki Warning!

Hopefully no one else has done something this dumb, but just in case...

I gave some mugs (porous outside, glaze inside) a good washing and wrapped them in bubble wrap to tuck them safely away.

Got them out this weekend to find them all green and fuzzy! The porous outside wasn't completely dry I guess.

They cleaned up after some careful scrubbing, but there were some tough mold spots that may have been permanent if the mugs had sat any longer.

Be careful out there!

You are lucky the Tiki Gods didn't start a Mold Remediation, Class Action, Law Suit against you!!!
