I was in San Diego at Old Town a couple of weekends ago and saw these mugs being sold at a shop and was intrigued by them. Definitely not tiki but I would say influenced by tiki. [ Edited by: Mongoloid 2014-03-05 10:37 ] |

Wow! Those are cool! I wonder if they came filled with cocktails in mid-century Mexican restaurants? |

Hey Mongo,I agree wid you, very much influenced (imho) by Tiki mugs. Nicely done too! Like most of us on TC I’bout outta room-have to save some space for “Real” tiki mugs even though I like those that you posted very much. Mahalo Eric, I like your tongue and cheek observation, now get back to your awesome art, Mrktplace is almost here! [ Edited by: nui 'umi 'umi 2014-03-05 13:40 ] |

They remind of the old Kahlua decanter and the Toltec decanter. [ Edited by: tikilongbeach 2014-03-05 15:47 ] |

Arriano I don't remember the name of the shop but it was one of the bigger shops with a big wrap around deck, the mugs were inside. A lot of the vendors start to look the same after awhile so sorry I can't be of more help. |
