The always great Jeff Berry is presenting at the National Archives: http://www.spiritedrepublic.org/events/history-of-the-cocktail/history-of-the-cocktail-tiki-exotic-drinks If you have never seen him conduct a seminar before, don't miss this chance! For the non-exotic cocktail enthusiast in you, there are many other great seminars in this cocktail seminar series, sponsored by the National Archives. Now that's what I call government working for me! |

The Jeff "Beachbum" Berry gave a 20 minute talk on the history of Tiki to a filled room of cocktail fans. Rum aficionado Stephen Remsberg spoke of rum history and David Chan mixologist & owner of late famous DC area Honolulu Bar mixed Mai Tai's. The seminar was moderated by Naren Young. Local DC mixologists provided their own creations the Neverland's Punch & the Pinch Hitter to get everyone in the mood prior to the seminar. (-: |
