Aloha! Of my grandmother's extensive collection, I have three Kulani Prison Camp tikis remaining. I am wondering if anyone here has information on these tiki which were carved as part of the prison's work rehabilitation program from around WWII in to the 70s/80s. I'm trying to track down the carver known as Toma Barboza. He was trained by the original carvers there. Mahalo! |

Wow, I'd love to see pictures of these tikis, and I'm sure others would, too! Also, welcome to this forum, Leilehua! I saw yours posts about tiki torches and luau torches, you and your husband produce some beautiful stuff! |
