Aloha! Of my grandmother's extensive collection, I have three Kulani Prison Camp tikis remaining. I am wondering if anyone here has information on these tiki which were carved as part of the prison's work rehabilitation program from around WWII in to the 70s/80s. I'm trying to track down the carver known as Toma Barboza. He was trained by the original carvers there. Mahalo!

Wow, I'd love to see pictures of these tikis, and I'm sure others would, too!
Not to mention pictures of your grandmother's extensive collection!

Also, welcome to this forum, Leilehua! I saw yours posts about tiki torches and luau torches, you and your husband produce some beautiful stuff!

What an interesting bit of local history! I don't see any other info on these on the internet.
