(Since links often get broken, over time, I'll post the content of the linked obituary.) Lynn Bergeron (1941 - 2016) Lynn Bergeron passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of February 25, 2016 surrounded by his loving wife Linda and his two beloved children Thomas and Kelly. Lynn was 74 years old. Lynn was born on November 5, 1941 in Berkeley, California. He was the youngest child of Victor J. Bergeron, Jr. and Esther Lind Bergeron. Lynn was the longtime President & Chief Executive Officer of the Trader Vic's Restaurants Worldwide Company, the company founded in 1934 by his father Victor "Trader Vic" Bergeron. Under Lynn's distinguished leadership, the company opened several new and very successful locations. His passion for his family's company combined with his highly astute business skills helped launch the company's worldwide expansion which has resulted in Trader Vic's Worldwide becoming an extremely successful and popular presence in the hospitality industry. Lynn's pleasures in life included sailing on the bay on their sailboat "The Fogcutter". He was an amazingly talented woodworker and spent countless hours creating beautiful pieces that he loved to present to family and friends. He greatly enjoyed the special times at Viola Farms in Illinois where he and Linda enjoyed the quiet and peaceful beauty of country life. They particularly loved the harvest in the fall.
