Palm sealing

Pages: 1 1 replies

I have several nice palm logs that I would like to carve. Is there anything I can use to help prevent cracking? How long should I let them dry before carving? I am new to this so any info would be great.

Welcome to TC Tikitexas. There's a lot of info on that in the "Carving Post". Some logs you can carve right away, and some have to cure for a few months, just depends on how much water it's holding. Good luck!
