Tahiti Restaurant In LA

Any more word on the progress or de-gress of Tahiti in LA? I know that they had new owners and where taking the bar down but anybody get a chance to keep the neon light or other artifacts?

The facade appears to be the same. No constrction or renevation. Last time I checked, even their extremely tiki website was still up.

I never found out about the auction scheduling, although I, too, am interested in knowing where those fine pieces ended up.
