Walkimg to my car, I spied a sign that read "Treasure Island" that looked very Oceanic Arts in nature. I looked down the entryway to spy a very large fibre glass tiki, and tiki lights a-hanging.
On the way back from my car, I asked what was going on, and it appears to be the 3rd annual Baha Sundays Luau BAR-B-QUE PARTY.
The flier the young woman handed me states
" Full Theme Deco- Free Food- $2 Brewskis-$2 Tropicla Drinks- Indoor/Outdoor location, Hawaiian Attire A must! Ladies in FREE Before 4pm W/Luau Attire."
The only thing that seems to point towards a bad experience is the music selection " Reggae- 80's-90's rewind- hip hop-salsa-nmerengue-house-trance."
Now free food and cheap drinks, versus bad music...
Anybody who might have nothing better to do, might want to swing by, Heck let me know, I live one block up, but I want someone to cover my back if I go. Or cover my ears.
Its on North Fair Oaks, across from the Parsons building, just north of Union St.
