Please help with Oceanic Art, Bahooka, Tiki Aprtments trip

Pages: 1 4 replies

Hi,

I am diligently working on our LA trip and have been unable to figure a few things out from looking at previous posts. We are planning to head straight to Oceanic Arts from then the Burbank Airport; then we would like to visit Bahooka for lunch. We definitely want to explore the different tiki apartments. Would the apartments be easy to visit from OA or Bahooka? We will be attending the Aloha-Cruz Da Show in Redondo Beach the next day and I wondered if the apartments would be closer to Redondo Beach then OA or Bahooka.

If anyone could help me out with this portion of our trip I would be really grateful. Directions and other places to visit would be super, too.

Thank You in Advance,
Gem

The apartments are just a few blocks away from The Bahooka. I don't know the addresses by heart, but found this info in Tiki Road Trip. Here is what I found....I hope this helps a little :)

Aloha Arms Apartments...5400 block of Rosemead Blvd.

Kapu Tiki Apartments... 5400 block of Rosemead Blvd.

Samoa Apartments...(where you ask? guess...)
5400 block of Rosemead Blvd.

OA and Bahooka are much closer to one another than either is to Redondo Beach, whch is on the other side of town. And by town, I mean the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. You can get to Bahooka/Apartments from OA by the 605 freeway or Rosemead Blvd. To get to Redondo Beach from either will require at least 2 different freeways.

Hi Dawn Tiki and PiPhiRho,
Thank you for the great information!
Very Best,

Keep in mind that the first printing of TRT had a typo on Bahooka's address.

Make sure you have the second printing (Which also spells "Eli" correctly!).
