You should've seen the homeless looking guy that they used to have as a stockboy. It would be 90 degrees out and that guy would be wearing all these layers, as if he was wearing all he owned (and never washed)...like a long sleeve shirt over his overalls and a way oversized jacket that looked to be winter lined with sheepskin-looking wool. I don't think I ever heard him utter a word, either. He just sort of lumbered around slowly with bottles of Sprite in hand.

Then there is (was?) Simon who is the owner. Maybe something happened to him and that is why they are closing? He reminds me of the Jewish character that Eddie Murphy played in the barbershop scene in "Coming To America". He would call talk radio stations and I'd hear him from time to time. I don't know if it is true or not, but someone who worked at a neighboring business said they own that block! I believe it was his wife that helped you when you went in there. I went in and got a rum bottle. Very cute. I might want to get ahold of one of those Ku-shaped Tiki bottles with the Kona Coffee liqueur in it. Those were fine!
